Protocol for Posting Workshops:

When you add workshops to the Chi Site, your workshop will show up on 3 pages on the Chi Site:
1. The Find a Workshop page (see what it looks like here) where all workshops are listed.
2. The Workshop Details page…an individual page for the details of your workshop.
3. A listing will automatically be added to your profile.
(All 3 of these will automatically delete the day your workshop begins).

To add a workshop carefully follow these instructions. We will not be double checking your work, so please do so yourself.

1. Log-in to your Instructor Site

  • You can find the link to log-in in the footer of our website, “Instructor Login”
  • Enter your email and password. If you are having issues with your email, please contact Kelly at

2. Select “Add a Workshop” in the left column navigation (see image below).

3. You’ll be automatically directed to the “back-end” of our site– If not already selected, select “Workshops” in the left column navigation (see image below).

4. On this page, you’ll notice you can view all other Instructor Workshops; however, you only have access to edit your own Workshops.

To begin the process of posting your Workshop, select the “Add New” button at the top of your screen (see image below).

5. The information you input on this page will reflect on the Find a Workshop page and your Workshop details page and your Profile page. It’s very important you double-check your information. Your Workshop will automatically post to our site once you Publish (more on that below).

6. Provided below are further details for each field.
***Before you do anything: Please select a checkbox for the “Workshop Type” and “Workshop Category” in the right-hand column of this page (see image below). THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT; otherwise, your Workshop will display incorrectly on our site.

  • Title: This is the first field at the top, “Enter title here”. This is for internal use only, so you must be specific. Otherwise, you’ll have trouble locating your Workshops on the back-end if you need to make edits or cancel. Please include the following in your title:
    1. Workshop Date (MM/DD/YY)
    2. Workshop Type (“ChiWalk-Run, ChiRunning and/or ChiWalking Workshop”)
    3. Your First and Last Name
  • Name: The name field will show as the name of your Workshop on our Find a Workshop page and your detailed Workshop Product page.

    We require the first word must be one of the following: ChiWalk-Run, ChiRunning, and/or ChiWalking. We suggest you keep it simple!
    Examples: ChiRunning Workshop, ChiRunning: Free Intro Talk, ChiWalking Weekend Retreat, ChiRunning 10K Training, ChiWalk-Run Multi-day Workshop)
  • Cost: Enter the cost of your Workshop here and be sure to include your currency symbol.
  • Link to Purchase Workshop: Copy and paste your Workshop registration/payment link. We will no longer be collecting payments or registration on your behalf.
    Some suggestions are:
    1. Your website (if you have e-commerce) directly to the workshop.

  • Start Date & Time: Once you click in this field text box, a calendar will automatically open (see image below). You’ll select the date of your Workshop. Once you select the date, a time will automatically open, select the time that your Workshop begins– don’t forget to select AM or PM.

  • End Date & Time: Same protocol as above. TRIPLE CHECK YOUR DATES & TIMES!
  • Additional Date Details: You can provide any specific details related to the date and time of your Workshop.For example, if you are hosting a Multi-day Workshop over the course of a month in which you meet every Tuesday, you could enter “Meet every Tuesday and add the dates”.
  • Venue: Enter the name of your Workshop venue location.
  • Address: Enter the address of your Workshop location.
  • City: Enter city.
  • State: Enter state.
  • Country: Enter Country.
  • Link to Map for Location: Copy and paste the link to google map or map of your choice.
    1. Go to: Google Maps:
    2. Enter the location of your Workshop in the provided text box (press search or enter).
    3. After confirming it’s the correct location, click “Share” under the location name.
    4. Copy the link provided and paste to the “Link to Map for Location” field.

  • Description: This is where you will include the details of your Workshop. There are templates you can use located on the Instructor Resources site under “Workshop Description Templates”. We suggest you download this document and keep it handy on your desktop if you plan to use it.
  • Instructor Name: Enter your name as you wish it to be shown to customers. Always include first and last name.
  • Instructor Email: Enter your email as you wish it to be shown to customers. This will be how they contact you for sales/support questions.
  • Chi Workshop Testimonials: You can include your own Workshop testimonials on your detailed Workshop product page.
    • Select “Add Entry”
    • Source Name: Disregard this field.
    • Source Photo: If you have an image, click select image and select files to upload a photo from your computer.
    • Quote: Input the testimonial here exactly as you wish it to show to customers. Do not include quotation marks. Include the name of the person at the end. (Example: -Sally Smith)
  • Refund & Cancellation Policy: Our usual Refund/Cancellation Policy will automatically show on your Workshop details page unless you choose to include your own. See our default refund policy below:
    • Cancel 14 days before the workshop and you will be refunded your registration payment minus a $35 processing fee, or you can use the registration payment for a future workshop with ChiLiving, Inc. within one year with no penalty.
      If you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will not receive a refund, but the fee can be credited towards a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year.  If you cancel within two days of the workshop you forfeit your full payment.
      The Instructor reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the workshop, in which case you will receive a full refund.

      • If you’d like to include your unique Refund/Cancellation Policy: Check the box, “Override default refund policy”
      • A text box will appear in which you’ll enter your Refund/Cancellation Policy exactly as you wish it to be shown to customers.

7. Once you have double-checked your work, you are ready to preview your Workshop details page. See the “Preview” button at the top right of this page  (see image below).

8. Once you’ve reviewed your Workshop details page, you are ready to Publish. You can find the button, “Publish” at the top right hand side of this page (see image below).
Remember, this will automatically go LIVE on our website, so TRIPLE CHECK your work!  
If you aren’t ready to publish and go live, you can save your work and come back to finish later by selecting “Save Draft” (see image below).
