I had a Zen Moment
Enjoyed the workshop Danny; you are a very good teacher. I have a degree in philosophy and psychology and my study has always been in Zen, Taoism, etc. I always thought there had to be a way to approach my running as more than just running. When you said it should be a “practice” it was a
Zen moment for me, and it has turned my life around. At 61, that’s a nice feeling.
I went to my local gym today and practiced lifting my heels, leaning and arm-swing, like we did on the track, while watching myself in the mirrors. My friends won’t recognize me running with my new form 🙂
