I was given the ChiRunning book by a friend, about three months into training for my first marathon. I have to admit, I was worried about making major changes so close to my race date, but I started incorporating the ChiRunning principles into my workouts. To my astonishment, I ran a 3:45 (shaving 15 minutes off of my half-marathon time!). Not only that, but I felt great the whole time.
