Recovering from Pain
Just a short note to say “thank you” for ChiRunning. I bought your book at the Big Sur Marathon in 2004 (I did the PowerWalk), and for the first time in my long life, I’m enjoying running, using your techniques. I’d never been much of a runner–too hard, painful, tiring, icky, yuck…. I was active in other ways, but could never keep up with running. Now I’m using your techniques of leaning, breathing, relaxing, using my core & hips for power, not my legs, and altho I’ll never be fast or (probably) a marathoner, I’m experiencing the joy of running. I’m looking forward to your ChiWalking book!!! I’m using your techniques in my power walks as well. Keep up the good work, thank you.
