Pain-Free Training

Your half marathon training program has been so fulfilling for me. Although I came into the program three weeks late and missed two weeks due to illness, I still learned so much and met some wonderful, inspiring runners.
 My hip would start bothering me at around five miles into a run, but after practicing the body looseners and visualizing “needle in cotton” and engaging y’chi, the pain went away.  I have been reading both “Chi Running” and “Chi Marathon” and am learning how to run and live life with more joy. I still have a long way to go, so I hope to continue the journey.
