Love Letter #6
Although I have exercised for as long as I can remember, and run for 10+
years, I have never considered myself a “runner”. I figured I just wasn’t a
natural — my body wasn’t built for it. After reading your book and putting
it into practice, I began to really enjoy running for the first time. Even
better, I am running faster and farther than ever before with no injuries!
In fact, I am training to run in the New York Marathon in November (my
first!). Just last weekend, I finished a 20-mile training run in a decent
time (3 hours), and felt great afterwards. The best part: I didn’t have a
single sore spot in my entire body!
