Less Perceived Exertion

« Go Back

Been running for many years with not another thought about
technique…I never was able to get my distance up, body would begin to
break down…I am a medium distance triathlete now and started
practicing what you preach in your book…biggest thing I am noticing:
less perceived exertion (validated by HRM) and less aches and pains in
joints. I suspect there is a lot more benefit to be had from this
approach than what I have experienced so far…in training I run 8-9
minute miles, my race speed is 7-8 min/miles.
