Marc Waxman has been a Certified ChiRunning & ChiWalking Instructor since 2016. He leveled up to Senior Instructor in 2018. At his core, Marc is a teacher. He has served in the roles of coach, teacher, school founder, mindfulness educator, and executive director.
Marc’s mission is simply to help others develop their best selves. We’ve witnessed his ability to do so firsthand! We’re honored to have Marc a part of the Chi Team and grateful for all that he’s contributed. In fact, Marc led the ChiRunning Student Athlete Program this past summer, which was a great success!

Vince Vacarro was born in Queens, NY and currently lives in New Hampshire. He received a bachelor’s degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies while focusing on commercial recreation, therapeutic recreation, industrial recreation and Psychology. He started ChiRunning in 2004 and followed Danny around the country learning and assisting. He has been a ChiRunning/ChiWalking Instructor since 2005 and became a Master Instructor in 2009.
Over the past 16 years with ChiLiving, Vince has been dedicated to growing the validity and reach of the ChiRunning/ChiWalking technique. He taught ChiWalking in a walking study conducted at Boston University and traveled to Singapore to train a group of ChiRunning Instructors.
Vince has an extensive athletic background. He ran competitively in High School and for two years in college until it “broke his body.” He found ChiRunning in 2004 and rebuilt his running practice and trained for endurance events. Since then he has completed over 60 marathons, three Ironmans, and three 100 milers. Vince is the owner of Tri Tek Events, a business that provides endurance event management for races from 5k- half ironman triathlons.
As an entrepreneur, Vince’s experience does not stop at Tri Tek Events. His first business was a bicycle repair shop at age 12. He has since owned and operated a Radio Shack franchise, Carwash, Property Management Company and currently is operating a convenience store he has owned for the past 30 years. His entrepreneurial mindset and attention to detail as a manager of employees, customer service provider and all things financial are assets that he brings to his leadership role within ChiLiving.
Vince believes moving well is the key to health and happiness. Incorporating the ChiRunning and ChiWalking technique into your daily practice will allow you too to benefit from a lifetime of forward movement.
Sarah Richardson, M.S., M.Ed., is a certified educator, running coach, and Master Instructor of Chi Walking/Chi Running. Her book, From Sidelines to Start Lines: (The Frustrated Runner’s Guide to Lacing Up for a Lifetime) teaches struggling runners how to reignite their passion and motivation. Her business, Rise And Shine Running, helps rookie and novice runners who experience doubt and frustration bring safety, efficiency and love to their sport. Her unique approach shines a light on motivational strategies, mindset management, and proper body mechanics to promote fulfillment and consistency.
Sarah knows that running brings joy and vitality to life, and has made it her life’s work to help struggling, and burnt out runners find the daily discipline to take back their power and honor their runner within.
Sarah brings 20 years of curriculum development, personalized and teaching experience to ChiLiving. She is dedicated to making content accessible and understandable to create growth and personal change to walkers and runners alike.
Lisa Pozzoni, is a first generation Italian American born in Massachusetts. Raised bilingual, Lisa attended 5th-8th grade in Italy. Lisa received her B.A. in Spanish from Arizona State University and continues to live in Arizona. Lisa has been a ChiRunning/ChiWalking Instructor since 2010 and became a Master Instructor in 2014.
Lisa worked in corporate for over 12 years, working her way up to Assistant VP and managing up to 100 people. She left her career in 2005 and focused on her personal health and wellness. She lost 40 lbs and 16% body weight, which she still considers one of the most significant accomplishments of her life.
Lisa did not start running until she was 38 years old, and learned ChiRunning/ChiWalking right from the start. She has since assisted Danny more than any other instructor, including 6 retreats at Kripalu.
Once certified, Lisa started The Running University, to help women who wanted to start running learn how to do it efficiently and without injury. As her personal practice grew to regularly include Ultra Marathons, Lisa’s TRU Tribe followed suit and her focus turned to training novice runners for ultras. She is passionate about helping women cross finish lines they never thought were possible and supporting them through a robust community both online and in person.
Lisa used her people skills and passion for health and wellness to support her local community over the years as well. She grew the biggest team and raised the most money for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, she walked 100 miles in 2012 for Marriage Equality, she was a Committee Member for Hike for the Homeless, and a Board Member for Girls On The Run. She is also an avid member of ToastMasters, at the distinguished level.
Lisa’s ultimate goal is for people to make fitness a part of their lifestyle. She knows ChiWalking and ChiRunning are a great way to do this and believes that creating a community to support each individual’s effort is crucial to success. The vision of creating a global community of ChiWakers and ChiRunners is one of her biggest dreams.
Constanza Lisdero, PhD., is Argentinian by birth, Italian by family, American by marriage and currently resides in Basel, Switzerland with her husband and three children. She has been a ChiRunning/ChiWalking Instructor since 2016 and became a Master Instructor in 2021.
Constanza is a lifelong athlete. Running was her typical warmup for sports like rock climbing and biking, and helped her stay in shape for sailing and competitive swimming. It was not until she was 41 that she found ChiRunning. Always struggling with running more than 30 minutes, she sought out to intentionally learn how to make running easier on her body. She attended a workshop taught by Vince Vacarro and in her words, “The rest is history.” Her newfound comfort with running allowed her to add triathlon to her athletic resume.
Once certified, she started her business Run With Constanza to serve beginning runners who wanted to run their first half marathon. She facilitated regular running groups and was teaching over 100 clients per year. Her passion is teaching and spreading the word about ChiRunning/ChiWalking. She knows that if she could learn it, anyone can.
Constanza is an analytical thinker, research and data driven and multilingual, speaking Spanish, English, Italian and German. Her well rounded skills and location in Europe provides a new presence to our Regions, Instructors, runners and walkers across the Atlantic and in South America.
Constanza’s hopes and goals for being an owner of ChiLiving are to get as many people as possible to experience effortless movement. She believes everybody should learn how to move the way our body is designed. It is important to her to make the technique as accessible as possible because in her words, “ChiRunning and ChiWalking are the perfect combination of being an aerobic exercise and moving meditation.”
