I’ve been ChiRunning for two months and have dramatically improved my running. I ran a 10k last week in 49:02 versus 56:08, a year ago! I’m nearly fifty and for the last 20 years have been scratching my head trying to figure out why I can’t run like I did in my twenties and early thirties. For some reason, maybe it was the 20lbs I put on or thinking I had to run slower, I lost my running “mojo” or magic. (mojo is a real word; look it up) But ChiRunning has got me leaning and relaxing.

Running is so much fun and much more enjoyable than I can recall.

Oh, and by the way, I’ve been practicing Tai Chi for the last nine years and am as devoted to it as running.

Ever think about doing a class on Maui? There is an active running community here. A swim in the lovely waters after a run is just what the doctor(or Danny Dreyer) ordered.

P.S. I’ve been ChiWalking and Chi hiking, too. It’s probably essential for those long fifteen mile hikes I do a couple of times a year.
