I started running charity 5K’s last year @ the age of 48. They were difficult and then… I came across the ChiRunning Book. This year, I decided to kick it up a notch using the Chi techniques. I trained & ran my 1st 1/2 marathon this Aug with a time of 2:22. It was so much fun I decided to do another. Last weekend I ran in the Denver Rock ‘n’ Roll 1/2 with similar results.
Hoping to find a ChiRunning partner in my area (Rapid City, SD) and take a workshop @ some point. I’ve attached a pre-race photo from a few weeks ago at the Denver Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & 1/2. I will be trying my Chi techniques in my first 10K Trail Race this weekend.
