Conquering Plantar Fasciitis with ChiRunning
I attended Danny’s workshop in Dayton on May 16, 2015. At the time, I was suffering from plantar fasciitis in both feet, but the left foot was the worst. I wasn’t sure I could keep running. I started running using the techniques Danny taught us. I ran the Air Force half marathon this only four months later. In 2012, my time was 2:11:50. I set the audacious goal of running under 2 hours this year. I finished at 1:59:46. ChiRunning absolutely made the difference. I was able to train, the plantar fasciitis went away, I felt stronger with each run, and, most importantly, when I needed to find the inner strength to finish the race strong, it was there. Thank you, Danny, I’ll be 62 in less than 2 weeks and will keep running!!!
