Breathing and Relaxing
Just got your book and tried ChiRunning. I’ve never been much of a runner and mostly avoided it. I am totally a beginner runner. I’m running because of anxiety and stress. My goal is a dualathon in March – run 2 miles, bike 16 miles, run 2 miles. I started a run of 1.64 miles. I can run about half and walk half. I ran twice on my own and felt like it was a lot of work. I then ran trying your way and found my mind was concentrating on breathing and relaxing and I didn’t think about how far I was running and how tired I was. I definitely need more chi-practice and look forward to my next run.
