Update: Chi Running Changes Everything!

I figured it was about time for an update. Chi Running has been the greatest influence on my athletics in quite some time. Of course, my running has improved: I'm faster, my joints feel great, my muscles never feel stressed. But what's most important is I've been able to apply these Chi Running principles in the field. At work, I use the same approach to all of my movement. I focus on technique which leaves my knees feeling great despite carrying a 30 lb. pack and sometimes a 25 lb. chainsaw too while on the fireline. Then in my free time, I've taken to running when I'm mountaineering. I move swifter, safer, and finish the day feeling great. The awareness I achieve from centering my body, mind, emotions, and spirit is unparalleled. I'll continue to share the word of the better way to move!

ChiRunning began to enrich my life on July 3, 2010 when I read the first 100 pages of the book and went for a run, and just focusing on ankle lift made a difference! My running life continues to transform and create joy! I smile when I run and love every minute. I am thrilled and grateful to be part of this ChiRunning community.
