Running Faster, Longer, and Pain-free with Chi Running

August 11th, 2011

I am 51 and have been running since I was 21. In the last years, I have had repeated discomfort while running, mainly with my Achilles tendon getting swollen and my Sciatic nerve becoming problematic after 30 minutes run.

When I learned about Chi Running, I found the philosophy and the technique very interesting and intelligent. I did a workshop that confirmed that this was for me. Since then, I have changed my way of running and I try to put something in practice in each run.

I can definitely say that the Achilles tendon and the Sciatic nerve are settled. I run faster, longer, and more than anything else, I enjoy every run.

I am very thankful to Hyongok Kent who introduced me to Chi Running and who is a constant reminder that each run is a journey toward improvement and focus.
