Running Farther Feels Easier, Thanks to ChiRunning Instructor

I am making great progress thanks to your program and one of your Certified Instructors who is excellent --- Kari Wilkinson. I was 230 lbs a little over a year ago. I cleaned up my eating and began exercising. I had started to run and was running runs of 4 to 8 miles. They were usually painful. I am now 165 lbs, and thanks to Kari, making runs as long as 12 miles and it is easier on me than shorter runs used to be.  THANK YOU and THANKS KARI.

Over the past 45 years, I have trained for and run a race of one mile or longer every year but one. I worked my way up to running marathons, but in 1982 began experiencing knee pain – ultimately in both knees.
