Chi Running with the Marathon Training Program
Chi Running is simply amazing. I thought I was naturally a midfoot striker, but through Body Sensing I have learned that I often ran on the outside edges of my feet, and also tensed up my lower legs and ankles. Predictably, I suffered from calf muscle strains and ankle pain, which often sidelined me for weeks or months. With the help of a local Chi Running coach, I was able to actively recover through my last foot injury and now I am back on track for my spring half and full marathon events! I am following Danny's Intermediate Marathon Training Program, and it has given me a sense of purpose and determination. No more junk miles for me! I feel like being an evangelist for the Chi Running movement!
