Jeff Carnivale
For over 10 years Jeff has been helping people reach their fitness goals as a certified instructor of pilates, cycling and as a personal trainer. He is thrilled to now add Chi Walking and Chi Running to this holistic approach of fitness and healthy living.It was 6 years ago when Jeff was training a TNT group for a century bike ride the his wife, along with a whole bunch of other marathoners, convinced him to give distance running a go. Like many, he was a little hesitant, as running had mostly been a punishment doled out while participating in team sports. Training for his first marathon, Jeff realized the joy and peace of those long run days and was hooked. About 2 years ago he picked up his wife’s copy of Chi Running and immediately felt improvements in efficiency and running form. As luck would have it, the Chi Living team needed another staff member and Jeff joined the Chi Living team in May of 2009. He also has the good fortune to be able to run with Danny about once a week when he is in town - a great way to keep your technique sharp when the boss is right behind you.Whether you are looking to run/walk your first 5K, want to improve your triathlon performance, or are training for a long distance event, Jeff can set a program to help you reach your goal.

In this workshop, you will learn the basic components of the Chi Walking technique. You will get lots of personal attention and enjoy a rich learning experience packed with good information to help you walk injury-free for the rest of your life.
Class Format: The Chi Running Essentials workshop includes four hours of instruction in a single 1/2 day course. The Instructor will be guiding you through many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what the Chi Running technique feels like in your body. We will not be doing lots of running (contrary to what you might imagine), so no matter what condition you are in, have no fear. We will spend time alternating between demonstrations, fun exercises and technique drills…the nature of the day will be relaxed, full and inspiring.
There will be a small portion of the workshop held outside in order to put together all that you have learned, so check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Please bring snacks and water, if needed.
