As a former cardiac nurse, Rebecca enjoys helping people of all ages stay active and injury-free for as long as possible!
Beginners are always welcome in her classes - whether they’ve just decided to become more active, want to lose weight, or are rehabbing from an injury. She enjoys incorporating the ChiWalk/Run method, as she feels it gives her students the tools to progress from where they currently are to an improved level of fitness.
A bit of history about Rebecca: She grew up running barefoot through the hayfields of their 180-acre dairy farm in SW Wisconsin - just for the sheer joy of running. And later, when life became more complicated, Rebecca ran to keep her sanity. However, as happens to many runners, the injuries finally became intolerable - and the running stopped. And the weight crept on.
Six years later, a good friend recommended ChiRunning. Rebecca recognized the potential of not only helping herself to run again, but of helping others run injury-free. Today, she runs strictly for pleasure and health benefits, and helps as many others as she can!
