About Jacquie
A coach and personal fitness trainer, I thrive on the experience of helping people discover the inner athlete they may have never known they had. Discovering ChiRunning® and then becoming a certified instructor has deepened this joy for me, because the techniques and focuses of ChiRunning®, by minimizing injury potential and emphasizing a more holistic and scientifically based approach to running, make the pleasures of running accessible to more people as part of a healthy, fitness-oriented lifestyle. Coming to endurance sports in midlife from skiing and playing tennis as a younger adult, I have completed triathlons and duathlons up to the half-iron distance, 5K, 10K and half-marathons runs, and multiple cycling and open water swimming events. I coach triathletes with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program and train private clients in running, walking, fitness, and core strength. Like all certified ChiRunning® instructors, I was trained by Danny Dreyer, Kathy Griest and Chris Griffen. ChiRunning® has given me the possibility of running more efficiently, less prone to injury, and with more enjoyment, and I look forward to sharing these experiences with others.
