METRONOME TRAINING

Postby GARZA.ARNOL@HEB.COM » Fri Mar 05, 2010 8:08 pm

Im only on my second day of using the metronome and I can already tell it is making a difference in my effeciency and breathing. Im loving it so far!

My question is, am I supposed to land on the beep, or peel my heels on the beep? Ive been landing on the beep, and what I noticed is that Im focusing too much on my landing as opposed to peeling my heels. What is better, or is there any difference?

You can do either, whichever you are comfortable with. Just don't switch back and forth during your run. And there is no difference.

Thanks Jacquie, I will try them both and see what feels better. On my next run I will focus on peeling on the beep and see what that feels like.
