it’s freezing

so, i’m not really into torture or anything.

i’m supposed to run today, and weather.com says it’s supposed to ‘feel like’ 27 degrees today at the warmest.

that’s crazy and i’m not into it. I’ll try again tomorrow when it says the warmest feeling temp will be something around 37 instead.

Danny ran this morning apparently. I’m just no superstar stud like that.

I just had to chuckle when I read today’s post from you kiddo….when I was your age I was out running in below freezing weather, I am originally around the Chicago area.
I would go out at 5:30am before my kids woke up. I think back then I was a super women, today I don’t have to be.

I ran the 1/2 rock n roll marathon in San Antonio this past week-end using the Chi running techniques.  I did great until I got to mile 10 then the chi running went out the window.  I tried to get it back but didn’t quite get it back.  I still did under my estimated time and just had fun. Great course flat, started out early 35 degrees by the time we finished it was high 40’s.  I did it in 2:30….I was pleased and am sure I would not have done as well had I not taken Danny’s clinic 3 weeks ago.

Liz you are doing great. Keep it up. Just bundle up you will come to enjoy the cold running weather.

A Chi Running Love Letter

Over the past 45 years, I have trained for and run a race of one mile or longer every year but one. I worked my way up to running marathons, but in 1982 began experiencing knee pain – ultimately in both knees.
